Breast cancer remains one of the most significant health challenges affecting women in Ghana and worldwide.
In many local communities, cultural barriers, stigmatization, financial constraints, and limited access to information lead to late-stage diagnoses, reducing the success rates of treatment.
Solution
In partnership with organizations like the Breast Society of Ghana, SAF implements comprehensive community outreach campaigns to provide free breast screenings, early detection education, and vital awareness sessions.
The project integrates health education, survivor testimonies, and blood donation drives while sharing educational content across digital and social platforms to extend reach year-round.
