Remote rural communities in Ghana face severe disparities in accessing reliable medical treatment, pediatric procedures, and specialized mental healthcare.
Geographic isolation and limited healthcare infrastructure prevent many adults and children from receiving necessary therapies and surgical interventions.
Solution
SAF funds and actively supports the Gye Nyame Mobile Clinic, founded by Dr. Ori Schwarzman and Dr. Britta Budde-Schwarzman, to bring medical teams directly into rural areas.
Embedded within local communities and partnered with regional hospitals, the clinic offers pediatric care, psychiatric support, public health education, and surgical services.

The initiative continuously operates across regions such as Western and Ashanti to treat common illnesses and deliver essential healthcare services on site.
