Challenge
Youth in urban Accra lacked dedicated, safe recreational spaces tailored for action sports, creative expression, and youth community building.
Without structured public recreational facilities, young people had few accessible outlets for sports development and positive social interaction.
Solution
SAF partnered with Surf Ghana and community organizations to support the construction and launch of Ghana’s first fully equipped public skate park.
The initiative provided land preparation, infrastructure support, and safety equipment to establish a modern recreational and cultural hub.
